Duties: Repairs and maintains light and heavy duty equipment including repairing and rebuilding engines and transmissions; diagnoses and repairs air brake, suspension, steering and electrical systems; keeps abreast of new technological changes in the maintenance field; and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications: The ability to work as a member of a proactive customer service team; a Journeyman or 4th year Apprentice in Truck and Transport Repair or Heavy Equipment Repair; graduation from high school plus any equivalent combination of experience and training; well developed interpersonal skills; the ability to work with minimum supervision; and the possession of a valid driver's license. Knowledge of electronic engine and transmission controls will be deemed an asset.
